Southern Keto Shrimp & Grits

A South Carolina- Inspired shrimp and "grits" recipe, keto style.

Shrimp smothered with bacon, green pepper and onion and paired with cheesy cheddar and garlic cauliflower rice.

Cauliflower is a nice alternative to rice and grain products if you’re on a low carb diet.

Not a fan of cauliflower? Substitute the cauliflower in this recipe for spaghetti squash, shirataki noodles, or finely chopped zucchini squash.

Shrimp Instructions – Fry bacon, remove from pan and chop. Reserve bacon grease. – Cook pepper and onion in bacon grease. Add back in shrimp, bacon and Old Bay seasoning until shrimp is pink.

Cauliflower "Grits" Instructions – On low-medium heat, cook  cauliflower rice.
