Equipment

Ingredients

  • ½ lb broccoli florets
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp olive oil spray optional
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes or garlic powder optional
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese optional

Instructions

Fresh Broccoli

  • Wash broccoli and chop. Toss in olive oil. Add salt and pepper, garlic powder to taste (optional).
  • Add broccoli to air fryer and cook at 350°F for 10 minutes, tossing at 5 minutes.
  • If more time is required, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Top with parmesan cheese (optional).

From Frozen

  • Follow same instructions, except cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.

Notes

Tips for air frying:
  • do a test run with 1 floret to determine your air fryer settings and prevent overcooking
  • From frozen: extend time to approximately 13 minutes, making sure to check right before time is up
  • Want charred broccoli? I recommend cooking for additional 3-5 minutes.

Storage:
Cooked broccoli is best consumed the first day, but will keep in a sealed, refrigerated container for up to 2 days.
